Room Use Policy

The Library offers the use of meeting rooms to non-profit groups of an educational, philanthropic, cultural or civic nature. Every effort will be made to accommodate room use requests.

The Library has limited on-site parking and all meeting attendees are asked to please park next door in the Baptist Church parking lot, especially during regular Library hours.

No smoking or alcoholic beverages are permitted in any area of the Library.

The Library does not necessarily advocate the viewpoints of groups using these rooms nor does it sponsor them.

Groups are responsible for adherence to occupancy limitations and compliance with Brewster Board of Health restrictions in the serving of refreshments.

If there is any damage to library property, the organization is responsible for its repair.

The library assumes no liability for injuries to persons who are on the library premises or for damages to any equipment or property. The groups or persons using the library meeting rooms agree to accept all equipment and property as is and waive any claims against the library, the Town of Brewster, its officials and employees and/or agents for the injury, accident, illness, expense or claim of damage of any kind whether to person or property, which may occur as a result of the use of library facilities by such persons or groups under their express, implied or apparent authority.
