Old reading room The Brewster Ladies' Library is operated by the Brewster Ladies' Library Association (BLLA), a private, non-profit corporation, and serves as the free public library for the town of Brewster.

The Association also performs the essential task of ensuring that adequate funds are available to support all the services and programs offered by the Library. Generally, the Town of Brewster finances the day-to-day operation of the library, and the Association pays for maintenance and improvement of the building, furnishings, computers, special services and programs.

The Association's membership is currently over 900 strong. This group provides the library with financial aid, through membership fees and fund raising efforts, and a large amount of community interest and support. All members receive a newsletter, The Library Update in the mail, four times a year - as well as the satisfaction of supporting a vital institution.

By making a donation of $25 or more you automatically become a member of the Association.
You will receive a quarterly newsletter from the Library giving you the latest updates on news and events.

You may make a donation or become a member by mail, or in person
